You are in the Pre-Revolutionary time period, would you consider yourself a loyalist or patriot? In your opinion would you side with England or the Colonists?
What is your connection to England at this point? Do you get your raw materials from England? Do you have family there? You may need to “make some of this up.”
What is your connection to the Native people? Do you trade or interact with local tribes?

I love living in the colonies—my family can worship god in any way we like! My cousins and aunt are still in England — they couldn’t afford to move to the colonies, but they still don’t enjoy being there. I get my materials from the grain mill next door, my pots and pans from the blacksmith, my peels are made from the carpenter, and crops from the farmer. Once a year, we trade with a tribe that lives nearby.

I hope that your aunt and cousins can make it over here one day.

I side with the colonists. I don't like that England decides what we can and can not do, what our religion should be and that we have to pay taxes to them. I don't have any family or connections to England and I don't get any materials from there. I get all my materials from right here in the colony. My family trades with the local tribes when they need candles.

I’m a patriot because I do all this hard work every day and then I have to send the king half. Also, I would be with the colonists because the people here are way better than a bad king. My connection to England is poor because I didn’t want to send some of the things I make to them. No, I don’t get my raw materials from England I get them from the mines here in Virginia, since it won’t take as long to come over. I have my entire family here with me in the settlement. My connection to the Native people is that I make axe heads, blades, and utensils that my brother trades them for things the King doesn’t supply us with. I don’t interact with the Native people because my brother is the oldest and he likes to explore outside of the settlement during his free time and crossed paths with a Native person and befriended them.

I am a Patriot and I sided with the colonists in the United States. My family lives in England but I moved here because of the high taxes. I miss my family and I send money when I can in hopes that they can move here soon. I came here because I wanted to keep my hard earned money. I trade with the natives because metal is hard to find here.
