The twins completed their math for Friday, reviewed sight words, read, and began researching their artist of choice. Both had extra curricular activities as well... Enjoy the break everyone! Hoppy Easter/Spring!
Livie spent her homeschool Friday with her grandma & brother while mom & dad are out of town.. She did her Math sheets, read to her grandma, and will be visiting a camel farm this weekend in Ramona while staying at their great aunt's ranch and learning more skills on taking care of ranch animals. Have a great Spring Break!
Kain worked on his math packet and read some just right books. We also went to the library for a craft and Easter egg hunt. Well we were there we checked out some books on his artist of choice. Happy Easter and Spring break everyone! If anyone wants to get together for a play date let me know!
We took it pretty light this Friday/weekend with the stomach flu taking over the house. Caleb did his math packet and some Raz-kids with me. He then did some writing in his journal. We watched a show about the animals deep in the ocean, also.
With mom being super sick we too the day pretty easy. Gage finished his math worksheet and spent some time reading some books to me and his sister. We also watched many shows on different kinds of animals and their habitats. He also spent a great deal playing outside.
Friday Zoe Did several pages of the math packet and has done some ST math on different days. She also read to me some library books and a few on RAZ kids too. She loves the song books! We also went to the New Children's Museum downtown and made finger puppets, clay pinch pots and did some painting and drawing.
Cash finished his math homework then we printed out additional math do complete. The boys helped each other build model kits, which they love doing right now. We did independent reading and their dad read to the boys as well. Additionally Cash wrote out some sentences about his day.
We started Friday by doing our math packet. Then we researched artist & decided to choose Dr. Suess. So much of the day was spent on reading his books and watching his videos. We did a few reading conprehension worksheets, some dot-to-dot Easter pictures (counting by 5’s), and a review of practicing our address & telephone number. It was a wonderful day! Happy Easter everyone!
Oops. I can’t believe I forgot to blog for this particular day!
Isabel completed her math and read a few books with me. We also practiced on certain sounds and talked more about homophones. She loves pointing out when she hears a homophone! She wrote a letter to an Auntie and we had fun with friends and family who came over for dinner that night! Lots of fun!! Good thing I wrote things in my calendar!😉
We did our math and knocked out the homework. We spent some fun working on our Easter eggs. We also got started on working on our art project. Sadie was really happy to learn about Frida.
Oliver completed his entire packet today in preparation for a busy Spring Break. He loves solving math problems so we did a lot of counting, adding and subtracting as we went about the day. He read all his school books to me before bed. I can’t believe how much he has changed this year, it’s truly amazing to see his brain work in new ways!
Olivia completed the package since we were going to be out of town for homestudy week.She also did some other easter work sheets. We read books, practiced sitewords and started researching her art showcase artist.
Parker completed his math packet, and did st math. We went to the library and checked out some new books. Also read some raz kid books.
Bryce completed his math, did Raz kids, and wrote a letter to his friend in Idaho. We also went to the zoo :)
We went to the Grand Canyon! We read two new books on the way and learned all about the brand canyon and it snowed on us so that was really cool! Went on several hikes and went swimming too!
Abdullah work on some numbers and letters with his brother. He read his book to me at bedtime.
